Venturing Into Fashion & Beauty Photography

I have been very intrigued with fashion and beauty type photography, lately. I love how a camera, some simple (or not so simple) lighting, and some post work can make an ordinary photograph look like a total work of art. I also enjoy the styling that is used in these types of shoots. The hair, makeup, and clothing choices are always very creative and expressive.

I recently had the opportunity to attempt a “fashion” style shoot with a friend of mine, Carrie. We came up with some clothing choices and found some “out there” locations and started shooting. The shots I was able to capture were incredible. I loved the styling, lighting, and am enjoying the post production work.
